Holmes-Wayne Community Honor Trip

The Holmes-Wayne Honor Trip is an opportunity for WWII, Korean, and Vietnam War veterans to visit the memorials in Washington D.C. that honor their service. This is not a vacation bus trip, but an opportunity for veterans in our community to share, bond, and heal.

Veterans travel for free and are accompanied by a guardian/caretaker. This three day bus trip is entirely funded by private donations from individuals and organizations in our community.

This program is coordinated by Holmes-Wayne Electric Cooperative, Inc, Shreve American Legion Forest Post 67, and Rolling Thunder Inc., Ohio Chapter 2. Holmes-Wayne Honor Trip is a 501(c)3 organization.

If you are a veteran or someone interested in being a guardian, please contact us at 866-674-1055 for an application.

If you are interested in sponsoring a veteran or making a donation to this worthy cause, please make checks payable to Shreve American Legion Post 67 and write "Honor Trip" in the memo line. Mail checks to P.O. Box 112, Millersburg, OH 44654.
